I began my career as a Quantity Surveyor, working on commercial and residential projects with major developers like Taylor Woodrow, Bellway, and Persimmon Homes.
Over a decade, I managed high-value builds, consistently delivering on time and within budget — all while playing top-flight rugby, captaining Glasgow District, and representing Scotland in both 15s and 7s.
I later founded and ran my own construction company for 12 years before transitioning to become Commercial Manager at Glasgow Warriors, where I increased sponsorship by 400% over three years.
Today, I run TSNG Ltd, a consultancy through which I met Sam, Danny, Adam, and the team. I’m proud to lead the development of Campbeltown Bond at such an exciting time for the Scotch whisky industry and look forward to building lasting success with our clients and partners.
James joined us here at Campbeltown Bond in June 2025 as our first Warehouse Manager, moving down from Glasgow to embrace local life in the Wee Toon.
He is the go to for all Whisky related queries. He is currently found when not in the Bond brushing up on his golf game on the local courses.
